Collection: Michelle Saputo

Michelle Saputo was born and currently resides in Walnut Creek, California.  She is a self-taught mixed media artist whose favorite media are oil paint and collage.  She has recently appeared in numerous west coast exhibitions including Refuse of the Bay at VOSS Gallery in San Francisco, The Pancakes & Booze Art Show at Public Works in San Francisco, and Mix It Up at Makers Paradise in Reno.  Michelle is a multi-time finalist at Art Battle, having competed both in Seattle and in San Francisco.  She also participated in Creative Concord Art & Music Jam in the Park where she painted live along with 15 other artists at the festival.  Michelle's hometown of Walnut Creek is currently in the process of installing her art on several public fixtures throughout downtown.

My sunlit studio is a funky creative space where I live and work with my blind French Bulldog, Mako Steel (like the shark) and two reformed feral kitties, Posy Mae and Bruce Wayne.  Art is such a great way to process emotions while healing your heart.  I hope to bring more color and fun into this world, and maybe raise an eyebrow or two along the way.
